On June 19th 2019, the Fondation pour l’innovation politique was in Skopje, North Macedonia, to present the results of its survey Democracies Under Pressure, conducted in partnership with the International Republican Institute (IRI).

The roundtable gathered Dominique Reynié, executive director of the Fondation pour l’innovation politique, Bujar Osmani, vice prime minister for European affairs, Christian Thimonier, Ambassador for France in Skopje, Thibault Muzergues, Europe program director of the International Republican Institute and Ilina Mangova, program director of the International Republican Institute in North Macedonia. The debates covered the interpretation of the results of the study for Europe, North Macedonia and the Balkans as well as the state of negociations for the country’s accession to the European union.
