Europe cannot afford to have a break, as euroscepticism is gaining ground in public opinion and among governmental circles. Within such a context of accelerated globalization, the specificity of the European Union is becoming less easily noticeable. To contribute to the debate, the Fondation is introducing a series of suggestions pertaining to four prioritized domains: civic revival, budget, taxation, security. To be effective, the debate must focus on the issues on which nations share mutual interests and common points of agreement.
